Established and Professional Chiropractic office is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist. This is a great position for someone who is dedicated and outgoing and enjoys interacting with people and assist in supporting them with their personal health goals. Must be able to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from approximately 10:00 AM. to 2:00 PM. Must be flexible with your hours as we work around our patients schedules, with some afternoon/evening shifts possible a few times a month to cover shifts of other employees. We are located in Bordentown NJ. Ability to learn new skills, multitask, and adapt to the fun, and fast paced, environment of a medical office is a priority.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Provide superior customer service to all patients to enhance their experience - Maintain an upbeat, professional and courteous attitude at all times - Assist in administrative tasks including: filing, answering phones, scheduling patients, collecting co-payments, data entry of patient records, insurance verification and fielding patients questions and concerns - Willingness to learn new products, programs and services - Provide an upbeat, "WOW" customer experience at all times to patients - Manage your time effectively and responsibly - Ensure that all patients fill out necessary paperwork and able to take all patient insurance information - Verifying patient insurance information online or via phone - Communicate current and ongoing services and health products to patients and have in-depth knowledge of our services, benefits and products - Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned by management such as vacuum and organize - Assist in all areas of operation as requested by management - Ability to learn new skills, multitask, and adapt to the fast pace environment of a medical office - Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or patients in the clinic that requires attention and inform management of any facility issues
- Experience in medical office, or reception desk and customer service in a fast-paced upbeat environment needed - but we will train the right person! - Excellent communication skills - Excellent professional demeanor, able to perform with a high professional standard of service, appearance and behavior. - Team player with good organizational and interpersonal skills. - Computer and data entry skills. - Able to handle multiple duties simultaneously. - Available to work varied shifts including nights on an emergency basis as necessary - Previous payment handling experience preferred - Ability to work independently and manage priorities - Must be able to work set schedule (Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays and Fridays approx 10:00 AM to 2:00 pm) – Must be able to cover other employee if situation arises, including some afternoon/evenings and/or full days, as necessary/on occasion - Excellent organizational, communication, problem solving, and computer skills - Must be enthusiastic, upbeat, outgoing, personable, passionate and knowledgeable about the health and wellness - High school diploma or equivalent - Great attendance, good work quality, and a positive contributor - Must be able to resolve situations and concerns of patients - Must have strong morals and ethics, be honest, truthful and trustworthy, doing what is right and what needs to be done - Must possess integrity and treat others with maturity and professionalism - Must be able to take initiative with the ability to make independent decisions based on sound judgment - Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills - Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment - Must be able to maintain confidentiality of patients - Must have reliable own transportation and be dependable. Must enjoy people and being part of a team!
